Lesson Type: One-on-one private instruction
Lesson Length: 1 hour and 30 minute, the first 20 minutes or so is a safety briefing on land, and the time we have (~1 hour) is on the water instruction

Safety is the top priority at Above the Water. All lessons are private, one-on-one, and taught in controlled conditions. Each session begins with an on-land safety briefing, and approved life jackets and helmets are required and provided for every rider.
Lessons progress only at a pace that feels comfortable for the rider, and sessions are adjusted or rescheduled if weather or water conditions are not ideal.
Do I need experience?
No. Most riders are first-timers.
What if the weather is bad?
Lessons are rescheduled if conditions are unsafe.
Is this a group lesson?
No. All lessons are private.
